Rune 是本地优先的文件与网页阅读器。无需创建 Rune 账号。开发者不运营用于接收文档、语音内容或 API 密钥的服务器，App 不包含广告、分析或跟踪 SDK。

文件与本机数据

App 读取你通过系统文件选择器或系统共享功能授权的文件和文件夹。浏览文件夹时读取文件列表，打开或朗读具体文档时才读取正文。编辑器与语法资源在本机运行。点击保存会将修改写回原文件，包含并发冲突检查和写入核验。

文件授权、最近记录、播放列表、阅读设置、浏览器书签与历史、编辑草稿、历史版本及音频缓存保存在 App 的本机容器中。原文件是否跨设备同步由你使用的 iCloud 或其他文件提供方决定。开发者无法读取这些本机数据。

语音服务与 API 密钥

Apple 系统语音由操作系统处理。选择 Edge、MiniMax 或 MiMo 并主动开始朗读时，待朗读文字及生成语音所需的声音、语速等参数会直接发送给对应服务。MiniMax 与 MiMo 使用你自己填写的 API 密钥向所选服务鉴权。联网请求也会让服务收到正常连接所需的网络信息，例如 IP 地址。

密钥保存在本机 App 设置中，由操作系统的应用容器保护。它们不会嵌入安装包、发送给开发者或公开到源码仓库。升级沿用原应用身份与配置，不会要求重新填写或主动清空旧密钥。你可以在声音设置中修改或清除密钥，也可以改用 Apple 系统语音。

第三方服务的处理、保留和账号规则由该服务及你与它的约定决定，Rune 不承诺第三方零留存。请在发送文档前检查所选服务的政策：Microsoft、MiniMax、Xiaomi MiMo。

网页浏览

本地 HTML 可以包含脚本和联网资源；在线网页会直接向你访问的网站发送正常浏览请求。WebKit 保存 Cookie、网站状态和缓存，网站的数据处理受其自身政策约束。Rune 开发者不会收到你的浏览记录。编辑预览使用独立容器，阅读样式和朗读高亮不会修改原文件。

控制与删除

你可以停止朗读、选择其他语音引擎、清除密钥或移除本机列表中的项目。删除 App 会删除其本机设置、草稿和缓存，不会删除原目录中的源文件。已经发送给第三方的内容如需删除，请联系对应服务。App 不出售个人数据，也不用于跨 App 广告跟踪。

Privacy policy

Rune is a local-first file and web reader. No Rune account is required. The developer does not operate a server that receives your documents, speech content, or API keys. The app includes no advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.

Files and local storage

Rune accesses files and folders you authorize through the system picker or sharing features. It reads directory listings first and document contents when you open or play a file. Editing runs locally. Save writes changes to the original file with conflict detection and write verification.

File permissions, recent items, playlists, reading preferences, browser bookmarks and history, drafts, revisions, and audio caches stay in the app's local container. File synchronization is handled by iCloud or your chosen file provider. The developer cannot access these local records.

Speech services and credentials

Apple system speech is handled by the operating system. When you select Edge, MiniMax, or MiMo and start playback, the text to be read and necessary voice settings are sent directly to that service. MiniMax and MiMo requests use your own API key. The service also receives ordinary connection information such as your IP address.

API keys remain in local app settings protected by the operating system's app container. They are not bundled into the app, sent to the developer, or published with source code. Updates retain the existing app identity and settings. You can change or clear keys in voice settings or use Apple system speech instead.

Third-party processing and retention follow the selected provider's policies and your account agreement. Rune does not promise zero retention by those providers. Review the policies of Microsoft, MiniMax, and Xiaomi MiMo before sending content.

Web browsing

Local HTML may include scripts and online resources. Online browsing sends ordinary requests directly to the websites you open. WebKit retains cookies, site state, and cache; each website governs its own data practices. The developer does not receive your browsing history. Source previews use a separate container, and reading styles or speech highlighting do not rewrite your files.

Your controls

You can stop playback, change providers, clear API keys, and remove local list entries. Deleting the app removes its local settings, drafts, and caches while leaving source files in their original folders. Contact the relevant service about content already sent to it. Rune does not sell personal data or use it for cross-app advertising tracking.
